1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run bookings and the business account:

• Customer details: name and mobile number, and email if provided, used to confirm bookings and verify OTP.
• Booking data: the ground, sport, slot, price, amount paid and payment method for each booking.
• Owner/business data: business name, contact details, staff logins, pricing, expenses and settings you enter.
• Wallet, loyalty, referral and pass balances associated with a customer at a business.
• Technical data: device/browser information and log data needed for security and rate-limiting.

2. How we use it

• To create and confirm bookings and show live availability.
• To verify phone numbers by OTP and keep accounts secure.
• To send in-app notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, plan notices).
• To provide reports, expenses and analytics to the business owner.
• To operate, maintain, improve and secure the service.

3. How we share it

A customer’s booking details are visible to the turf business (tenant) they booked with, so the owner can manage the booking. We do not sell your personal data.

We use trusted service providers strictly to run the service, for example an OTP/SMS provider (MSG91) to deliver verification codes and a weather provider (Open-Meteo) for venue forecasts. They process data only to provide their service.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users and safety.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your chosen language. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data security & retention

Passwords are hashed, money is stored in integer paise to avoid rounding errors, and access to business data is restricted by role. No method of transmission is fully secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at adarsh@altgs.in. Business owners can manage most customer records from their dashboard.

7. Children

The service is intended for turf owners and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
